Just got back from Turisas, Norther and Alestorm. Absolutely fantastic gig, loved every minute of it. Got to interview Alestorm after some nice blagging (saying we were doing it for MySpace); were going to 'interview' Turisas too, but they were too busy Only met one of their members.

So yeh, front of the gig, rocking the shit out. They all played amazingly.

Have a 6 minute recording of Alestorm talking to us, some funny shit. Might post it if I can be bothered taking it off my phone.

    29 days til next gig

Turisas run a competition, whoever gets picked out of the crowd gets a goodie bag of awesome shit.

Not bad. Some choruses sound terrible simply because he can't do melodic singing, but the rest is great. Sounds like a ballsier/thrashier Motorhead.

Evile were pretty good, makes me want to get some of their stuff.

'Deth, obviously, were fantastic. Even with Dave running offstage every so often to puke into a bucket Had 3 hours of sleep since then, so I'm pretty shitted out XD.
Chris Broderick the second guitarist then??

Yep, and he's an absolute hero. He performed the best of them all I'd say.

In interviews he has said he is, which is awesome news. While Tatgren did great work on Nightmares Made Flesh, I'm really looking forward to hearing Akerfeldt's stuff.

I thought about talking some viking/folk metal when it just so happens ppl are talking 'bout Turisas (looking forward to their next album).
Looking to expand my taste for folk metal like Korpiklaani, Finntroll & Moonsorrow. or if there's anything else out there like Haggard?
I'm all ears to real musical talent.

Currently listening to haemorrhage. I like the whole black'n'roll/d-beaty thing they get going sometimes. Same with nunslaughter.
I was never very good at coming up with original sigs.

Haggard is pretty unique as far as I'm concerned. I'll post some folk bands when I get home, I mostly listen to power metal so I have trouble remembering bands that aren't . All these retarded 'core' bands pretending to be metal annoy me .
