Maiden put on a fucking amazing live show, highly recommended! They haven't been here in 15 years and they're already saying they're gonna be back next year, we're pretty awesome IMO. Only idsappointment is that they didn't play 'Somewhere in Time' which I thought was odd, with the tour being called Somewhere Back in Time and all

    Set-list:
    Aces High
    Two Minutes to Midnight
    Revelations
    The Trooper
    Wasted Years
    Number of the Beast
    Can I Play With Madness
    Rime of the Anceint Mariner
    Powerslave
    Heaven can wait
    Run to the Hills
    Fear of the Dark
    Iron Maiden
    -------------
    Moonchild
    The Clairvoyant
    Hallowed be thy name

Nearly didn't get in because of a ticket issue, but I fucked some shit up and sorted it out...of course my ticket wasn't the problem, I really need to start going to gigs by myself again....

Damn thats a nice setlist. Hopefully it'll be somewhat similar at Wacken.

Going to gigs alone aint as fun IMO, which is why I have my gigging buddy

I remember when i saw maiden -- got to see em for free because a kid who we hate's (but he doesnt know it) mom worked at the venue they played at, so he got like 4 tickets free. Great show. Also THE most marijuana ive ever seen in one place.

So I'm just getting into Converge. So far I have No Heroes and Jane Doe. Any other albums by them (or by other artists similar) worth checking out?

Oh it's usually more fun once you're actually inside, but my mates are usually always running late or there's some problem like getting lost on the way/losing tickets and whatnot. Whereas I'm always super prompt and make sure I know where I'm going.

Yes. Yes it is. I still prefer Words That Go Unspoken, Deeds That Go Undone though.

Have fun at that and shat, Dave always puts on a good show. Set list for this tour is pretty good, except that he took out 'Liar' from the previous tour's setlist and didn't put 'Skull Beneath the Skin' in like he said he was going to. I would've loved to hear that one, playing anything off Killing is my business that isn't 'Mechanix' would make me a happy lad.....even 'These boots'

'Peace Sells/Set the world afire/...but who's buying' medley was my highlight when they were here a couple of months ago.

    Good show. Reeeaaallly good show.

I wanted to kick Job for a Cowboy (the drummer excluded, as he was pretty damn good) for being so damn awful. Really didn't fit the tour.

Evile were pretty good, makes me want to get some of their stuff.

'Deth, obviously, were fantastic. Even with Dave running offstage every so often to puke into a bucket Had 3 hours of sleep since then, so I'm pretty shitted out XD.

See if you can get in touch with Slim, he was a massive Converge fan back in the day. I absolutely adore Jane Doe but still haven't gotten around to exploring the rest of their catalogue.
