There's a lot of bands you listed I like, and just a tad I dislike, but yeah, I'm a really big rock/punk fan. Metal is cool, but.. not that big of a fan.

Mallcore isn't an insult at all, though metalheads do make it sound derogatory.

Yes, in fact I think I was the one that told you about them. I think they're the band that sound closest to the mid-late 90's In Flames, and of course that's a good thing in my eyes. The song "Rapture", which I thought was going to be a Morbid Angel cover, is my favorite BtE song. Great shit, their clean vocals aren't too bad either, kind of like Into Eternity. I was going to see them with Amorphis and Into Eternity but only had $20 to see Vader and Kreator, and I'm a much bigger fan of Vader.

Got to see Into Eternity with Krisiun, Hate Eternal, and Incantation 2 weeks ago though, they all ruled.

I figured it was. Ive never even heard anyone say it before.

But I am suprised no one called me "Emo" it seems to be the main "insult" word here in Ohio. Yeah, people are dumb. I find the word Emo to be, well, its not even a word. Since it means "Emotional" and every band writes its lyrics from there emotions... that would make every band emotional. I understand people say it as Oh that band is depressing and they are emo. But emotions dont have to be sad. Ha.. whatever.. thats my view on that abbreviation.

Totally an unfair question, so I'm just going to list ALL of my favorites, in no order whatsoever:

    311
    Do As Infinity
    Nirvana
    Louis Armstrong

    Miles Davis
Yoko Kanno (she's a composer, actually)
    Motzart
    System of a Down
    Beck
    Charlie Parker
    Led Zepplin
    The Beatles
    David Bowie
    Linkin' Park (shut up)
    Foo Fighters
    Wu Tang Clan
    Scoobie Do
    Gorillaz

    Stevie Wonder
    James Taylor
    Rise Against
    Stevie Ray Vaughn
    Beethoven
    Earth Wind and Fire
    The Supremes
    Jethro Tull
    Daisuke Ishiwatari
    Bonnie Pink
    The Blur
    The Offspring (shut up)
    Thelonius Monk
    Elton John (shut up)
