Default 26th June: Upload Your Favourite Obscure Game Day!

I had a pretty cool idea for an event, on the 26th (this Sunday), we all upload one of our favourite obscure games, a game that you enjoy, and think others would, if only they knew about it! You don't have to if you don't want to, of course, but I thought it'd be pretty interesting to see what people upload!

YouSendIt.com would be preferable, and you should post your links in the YouSendIt Mania thread.

Any system at all, except PC as EP doesn't allow it.

This thread is for discussion and feedback.

So, what do you people think? Good idea? Bad idea?

Nice! Anyway, EP doesn't allow warez, so abandonware/freeware games are still okay. (Hehe, I've got quite the selection...)

EDIT: Also, if there aren't that many people who upload, a poll for the best obscure game of the day, maybe?

    Good idea, yeah.

If people could bump this until I have enough points to sticky it, I'd be grateful!

Yeah I like the idea too, but I'm afraid that the one I have in mind I only have the PAL version, which would be a handicap for the NTSC users :/

Do not keep them secret now, xena. It's an evil thing to do. So, are they any good?

BTW, anyone heard of Wolf Team? They are the tri-Ace guys. Tales of..., Valkyrie Profile, Star Ocean.
And they had some interesting action games for the Sega Megadrive.

A question: is Ground Control obscure enough? And another: is it banned from these forums? It's free to download from FilePlanet since GC2 was released, but they've stopped supporting people with install keys. Luckily, I've bought the original. Still, I don't know.

I've never heard of it, so if it's okay with EP, it's okay with me!

I like the idea, in fact I like the whole idea of themed uploads. Like "today is pirate day! Upload Pirate games in this thread!" . Like some sort of contest, the winner gets points and a special Emuparadise title (Captain Emu or something in this case)

Yep, I was thinking of planning some more themed uploads if this is successful.

    *stares at the audience*

But it can only be successful with your help. Pledge an awesome download today.

    BLASPHEMER!
    Actually, that's not my line...
It really is a good strategy game, focusing on the battles, and has no resource management.

Yikes! I never knew. A prequel for Grandia, on a handheld? That's interesting, for sure. It doesn't really matter if they're good, I'd like to see what they've managed to do.

You're reading my mind. A poll on the day following every event, where people could vote who should be the star of that day. First place gets 3 points, second 2, third 1 point. Points carry over into subsequent rounds. An updated list of the first three uploaders would be nice, getting special user titles/signatures, or maybe only the top ranked guy/girl should get a reward. Anyhow, this sounds like a lot of fun.
