PSX ISO Help~!

Hi there, can anyone out there explain to me what is an ISO? once I download this, do I have to burn it to a disc and play it in an emulator? or can I just play the file through an emulator? Which emulator is better? VGS? or ePSXe? Thanks in advance

an ISO is a CD image. Basically a cd in a file. You can just play it from the emulator without burning. Use ePSXe.

Get Daemon tools so you can mount the image onto a virtual drive. Then configure your emulator (ePSXe recommended) to read from the virtual drive.

ePSXe can run directly from the ISO. I don't use a virtual drive, there is no need to.

Just get ePSXe, hit file>>Run ISO, and open the ISO file.

To take a PSX game and make it into an ISO, use Isobuster.

Then put in the PSX CD into your computer, open Isobuster, right click on CD (the highest level root), then hit Extract CD , then select RAW (*.bin, *.iso). When you save, add the extension .iso. For example, if I'm saving Frogger, I'll save it as frogger.iso not just frogger. After you finish, it'll ask to save again for thbe .cue file, just hit save.
