Default not my problem, but just wondering...

on my school monitor, on a LCD IBM monitor....

When i turned on the monitor and computer, it was fluctuating (sp?), anyway, it was jumping and showing me crap. then i got to the Win 2000 scrren, and it stopped, but then i have a small green line going down the right side of my screen. And it's not the comp, because it shows up in the Win XP partition as well, and on boot-up.

It's not really my problem as it belongs to the school, but is that fixable, or not? They'll probably just get a new 1 anyway...

Bad LCD monitor. Gets changed by warranty if they have.

yep just found out. they ordered a new one, still was under warranty.

about 20 minutes after I wrote the post, the screen went blank, and started jumping even more. had to shut it down and go to another comp.

When the replacement will come, who knows?

lol...no clue how long it'll take, but since it's a school comp, shoulnd't you have plenty of other comps to use that are all the same since they're networked?
