Actually, Nitronic, the concept of The Village was quite unique if you separate it from the course of the movie and all the suspense involved.
I too thought it was rubbish that there were no village people, but I liked that they thought money was the root of problems, but whats the point of running away from something you yourself have created. Plus I like Jauquin Phoenix

I agree, the concept was unique, it just was nothing like what the preview made it out to be so was a huge disappointment there, I was thinking it was going to be a kick ass horror, and it was not for sure, it was quirky and I had to wonder, where DID they get all their supplies from? LOL

And let's not forget Freddy vs. Jason.
    Greatly enjoyed Monster Hunter
    Happily playing Guild Wars
Sorely disappointed with Star Ocean 3

The Grude was the biggest disappointment ever. I expected only a little bit and came out with nothing.

I guess you saw the US version with Sarah Michelle Gellar? Watch the original, Japanese movies: Ju-On the Curse 1-2, they rule.

    USA adaptations suck.

Completely second that. No spitting on Hollywood or anything, but the Japs sure do know how to make movies.

The most I've ever been disappointed in you. Buy the dvd to make up for it.

And yeah, seeing the third matrix made me realise they all sucked. Also Hitchiker's Guide was classy...

Dude, I already wasted 6 on a cinema ticket for it, I'm not gonna fork out cash and buy it too. Maybe I'll download it sometime.

Default My biggest disappointment - T3

You can say that again! Im one of the very few Matrix fans, whod say they loved Reloaded more than the first Matrix movie, but Revolutions did disappoint the shit out of me, honest. What were they thinking?! Nevertheless, The Matrix: Revolutions wasnt the biggest movie disappointment of that year; it was Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, which is what Id have to go with in this thread. I had been anticipating that movie for nearly a decade, but when it finally came out, it was the most pathetic thing I ever saw. I think it was a total joke.

Precisely! It still had the fun Ninja-Robot factor, though.

The number of video-game-based movies that arent utter shit is scarce.

Really? I thought the music score sucked ass, but the movie wasn't that terrible, was it?

Another movie comes to mind. That Batman movie with George Clooney and Uma Thurman. Was it Batman & Robin? I dunno, but I liked the first two batman movies. Yet, I was very sad after I saw Arnold Schwarzenneger playing Mr. Freeze. (At least batman is getting better with that new wb cartoon and the new movie that's coming out)

Open Water had to have been the worst movie I have ever seen. It followed what they talked about while they sat there in the water. This was a horrible movie.
