Valholy, it all depends on your connection stranght/speed. But normally 8 is more than enough.
The nglayout pain delay has no real effect if your computer speed is slow, since the only thing it does is start drawing the webpage earlier once page download starts. If your computer is slow, it will likely rush it for nothing.

Oh yes, you forgot add the "/prefetch:1" parameter for WinXP users, it greatly decreases the time the browser takes to load. Right click the shortcut you have on your desktop/quicklaunch toolbar/startmenu, and add "/prefetch:1 to the filepath. Example:

    "\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" /prefetch:1

That helps a lot. Kudos to someone on EP who gave me this tip ages ago...

    are you sure it is
    "\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" /prefetch:1? i thought it could be
    "\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"\ prefetch:1

edit-none of those worked it says thats a invalid destination

It's /prefetch:1. Did you forget to type the drive that the folder is in, like C: ? I didn't add that in my previous post because that damn smiley showed up.

    C: \Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" /prefetch:1

Exactly as above, without the space between C: \ . Obviously change "C:" to it's equivalent on your comp, as well as your Program Files folder, depending on your OS' language and where you installed Firefox. For me, it would be C: \Archivos de Programa\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" /prefetch:1

Oh, and thanks for the rep.

"C: \Archivos de programa\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe/prefetch:1" and "C: \Archivos de programa\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe\pefetch:1",none worked well i gues that i dont have much luck these days anyway rep to you friend

Dude, I think I see what you did wrong:

    "C: \Archivos de programa\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"\prefecth:1

    It's actually: "C: \Archivos de programa\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" \prefecth:1

you missed the space after the " and \prefetch:1 , or you might've spelled prefetch wrong like I did at first. Hope this helps.
