Default Megaman Battle Network 4 Blue Moon

If anybody has played the ROM, perhaps you can answer me. The game sort of freezes everytime a Navi Chip is used. I've been running the game on VisualBoy Advance 1.7.2. The OTHER game (Megaman Battle Network 4 Red Sun) works fine without any crashing, however this game does. I know my emulator is set on the appropriate settings of Automatic/128K. So the 'Save Type' isn't the problem...any tips on how to overcome this situation?

Have you tried multiple roms? It may be a bad dump.

Yeah, I've tried multiple roms. I thought only one group dumps the roms and they're spread around?

No I've had working roms of Conkers BFD and Bad Ones.
But this problem surely has me stumped, But then agian I'm no GBA Guru.

Thanks anyways though. I guess I'll bash my head around some more until it comes to me.

Try an older version of VBA, or try another emulator.

Yeah, the old ones work. But the thing is, I'm not exactly playing the game just for entertainment purposes. The older emulators are missing a few features that I kind of need. Especially the layering features.

Get the lastest version, 1.8.0 Beta 2
Doesn't seem to crash on my side.
    Get it here

Yeah, I just downloaded that not too long ago. Working fine, however I can tell that the game IS freezing, but emulator seems to bypass it. When I do certain things, there tends to be delay (ie. the Navis Chips). But yeah, I guess I'll be using this one. Thanks everyone for the input.

Maybe it's a bad dump like Dserge suggested.
Get all your good roms from www.emuvortex.net (registration needed)
    or chinagba.com (chinese)

I would just try a different dump or maybe even a different emu. Use all possibilities to see what's wrong.

Well, I've that's where I usually get my roms. And the emulator might be the problem. I tried it ALSO on older emulators like VisualBoy Advance 0.8, it worked. I tried the rom on the no$gba also, which doesn't work. I don't know...but I really think it's the same dumped rom all around.

Try running the rom through GBA Renamer.
If GBA Renamer recognizes it, then it's a "scene release" that hasn't been nuked, and therefore a working dump.

You can also try the ClrMaMePro or RomCenter dats instead:
