Microsoft is copying the PS2 controller next time around since it is the most popular and most favored of all consoles.

Nintendo has is designing what they call the Revolution because they say it is going to be revolutionary. All 3 consoles will debute at E3. The PS3 is going to be first I think, just a couple of hours before Xbox2.

    Having inside sources helps.

Reading the news helps too It was announced on 'public channels' that PS3 will be shown 3 hours (i believe) before Xbox 2, which is gunna leave reporters scrambling.

I was going to point that, out...

I think the Idea, was to make it imposible for reporters to be at both...

That's why reporters work in teams when it comes to videogame coverage...

Anyway, it looks like one of those awkward PC controllers from the sidewinder family... Is that a D-Pad...?

To get back to the subject: that controller looks stupid and slippery. Something I wouldn't like to see attached to my console if I even had a console But the shape could be better and dark colors suit controllers way better than pure white

Yeah, although white consoles can kick unsurmountable amounts of ass... DC, anyone...?

I think White is a much better color than black. Only because black is like the base color for anything electronic now adays.

Might be, but that controller would not look so disgusting if it were something other than white. Let's say... pink?

That's a terrible looking controller. The placement of the analog sticks and D-Pad is just...wrong. I'm also a bit wary about the shoulder triggers. I believe the Dreamcast controller showed us just how unconfortable and unruly they can be, so including them on this controller is a bad move, IMO.

I'm hoping this is just a prototype, and that the final design is drastically altered before release...

The original DC Controllers were uncomfortable, but then there was this big red one my friend had, and it was a whole lot better.

Well, the DC controller was functional for most games, but I was a huge fighting game fan, and trying to play something like SFA III on that thing was too painful an experience. The trigger buttons were too.."mushy" for my tastes, so pulling of combos and whatnot became unecessarily difficult.
