Favourite Board Game!

Heh, this is where you should voice your opinion of your favourite board game. Of course, I realize I'm in the vast minority that still knows that board games actually exist . . .

At any rate, my favourite board games are:

1) Chess (The thinking man's strategy game . . .)
2) Risk (Forget RTS computer games . . . Risk tops all of those, and of course the real reason that I like Risk . . . "What are we going to do today, Brain?" "Same thing we do everyday, Pinky, TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD.")
and 3) the occaisional round or two of Scrabble.

As you can see, RTS videogames (in my opinion) just don't hold up to the classic strategy-based board games.

Monoploy (i kick ass at that game)
I rarely play board games as i find they boring in the long run.

Risk.

I am always up for a good round of Monopoly. That game is fun.

Another good game is Life.

Ha Ha, I completely forgot about Monopoly . . . That's a good game as well . . . I remember (ahem, when I was "younger" ahem) playing that (or SolarQuest, which is a Monopoly knock-off) for 4-6 hours about once a week during the summertime . . .

I like the idea of 'Go' but im not any good at playing it.

Chess, Stratego and Risk are among the top games for me. I don't really play board games that much though. I've spent much more time playing cards.

They both have some luck (the dice rolls), but it is a little too much luck involved in Risk, so Axis and Allies is number 1.
