Can't Find RE:3 [GC], Can you?

I'm looking to purchase this game, the only site I found was Amazon, and they say they only ship this product to certain parts of Europe. Judging by the image they provided me with, it doesn't look like that particular Resident Evil 3 is from the US. Which is the problem, I live in the US. I've been to a couple of stores around my house that sell and buy games and they all said the same thing: "Nope, sorry, that game is very rare though." Since it's so rare, I hope I don't have to pay too much for it when I actually find it. I'll still look around the net and the city, but if anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it very much.

Rare?.... well i didnt know that,my cousin has it and you can find it anywhere in Mexico but i guess its to far from you

Yeah, it's pretty rare here in America. You'll be lucky to find it for less then $50 used, if you can even find it.

I'll keep my eye's open for you though. If I see it available, I'll let you know.

not very rare in america. i guess it all depends where you live and where you look. i've seen it at many EB games and game stops in manhattan and in long island.

Just because you saw it, doesn't mean it's widely available man.

Very true. However don't say rare in a country when it can be easily found in certain places within that country if you look around man.

Again, I'll state that just because you've seen it, or rather, claim to have seen it, doesn't mean that it's not rare. Do you not understand that concept, or do you think that just because it's easily found in your area, that it must be the same everywhere else?

Nothing. It was produced in low quantities here in the US, which has made it something of a collectors item for fans of the series. It's nothing but a port of the PC/DC versions of the game, but for collection completists, that it's on the GC is enough of a reason to justify yet another purchase of a game they already have three versions of.

Now i understand,i thought it could be something like splinter cell non platinum or something like that,but i see that its just a normal game

are you joking! i know there were improvements from the psx to DC versions, but no improvements from the DC to GC versions?

Nope. Not a one. It's the same game that was on the PC and DC. Though it is interesting to note that it doesn't seem to have the same polygon tearing issues that reared their ugly head on the DC version from time to time. I suppose that's an improvement if you're looking for one.
