Default Mm. Little help with burning/playing.

I hope this isn't in the wrong section, but anyway..

I just recently purchased a Gameshark 2 v2 in hopes of using it for the widely know method of playing burnt games. Unfortunately, I have little to no knowledge about burning games I've downloaded properly. Could someone help me out here?

Is that for the Playstation 2? Two good burning program I know of are, "DVD Decrypter" which is freeware and "Alcohol 120%" which is not. The rest should be simple, extract the ISO somewhere and then load that ISO with one of the above programs. Insert CD/DVD into your CD/DVD burner and proceed.

It's not that easy to use, but it goes something like this (off the top of my head)
boot with the AR2v2 in your PS2 then swop after the Ar2v2 has fully loaded for a DVD or CD original that has a larger TOC (amount of space used on the Disc)
(use orignal CD's for CD-R's and original DVD's for DVD-R's)
Now you need your PS2 to stop reading that disc by selecting some random codes and going to start the game but instead of actually starting cancel that, if I remember corectly that should stop the drive from reading the disc
(You should be able to tell if the drive is active or not, but don't go to the next step if the drive is still active or it will destroy your DVD/CD original)
Now use your slide card to eject the drive without using the eject button and change the disc to your backup
Now start the game without codes.

P.S. Swap Magic is alot more simple to use though you still need either a flip top mod for the old model PS2 or the slide card but you only need to swop once as it has a high toc to start with

Yes it works just fine, though you may have display problems if you have a PAL machine but NTSC machines play JAP and US games fine using the swop trick or mod chips

for PAL on NTSC or NTSC on PAL you would need an unofficial RGB lead from your PS2 to your TV, unless your TV support both NTSC and PAL anyway

Any will do the trick but to name some of the beter ones CDRWin, Discjuggler and Nero Burning Rom 5.5 (Nero 6 has problems from what has been said about it through lots of Emulation forums)

Default setting used with all of those burning progs is fine for PSX games

P.S. the GS2v2 will not boot PSX games, the bonus PSX cheat CD will though if you got it
