    Default Anticipated realeases for 2005?

I know, I know it's kinda late in the year for this thread, but since no one made one at the right time.....better late than never.I'm including the ones that have already been released in my list,in order of priority:
    1) The Flaming Lips ~ At War With The Mystics
    2) Broken Social Scene ~ Windsurfing Nation (godammit, it was supposed to be released in jan.it better be worth the wait.....)
    3) The Books ~ Lost and Safe (supposedly very good. I've resisted downloading the advance....for once in my life.Due April 5th)
    4) Spoon ~ Gimme Fiction (already heard it.IT'S AWESOME!!!!Due May 10th)
    5) M. Ward ~ Transistor Radio (Not as good as his last release. But still pretty god darn good)
    6) The Flaming Lips ~ Latenighttales (Good. But not great.)
    7) Strapping Young Lad ~ Alien (AWESOME.AWESOME.AWESOME....i need new superlatives)
    8) The Fiery Furnaces ~ EP (FINALLY i get my hands on their b-sides)
    8) Mars Volta ~ Frances the Mute (Want to buy the original....haven't got a chance to import it yet.)
    9) Alog ~ Miniatures (Bloody bloody good.)
    10) Bob Drake ~ Shunned Country (Bleh...i don't think he can ever release a bad album.)
    11) Iron and Wine ~ Woman and King EP (A suprising shift to their original sound...yet again, a solid release from Sam Beam)
    12) M.I.A ~ Arular (Again....waiting to buy the original.I've heard it's good though.)
    13) Andrew Bird ~ The Mysterious Production of Eggs (His lyrics just keep getting better. And this time, so has his music.)
    14) M83 ~ Before the dawn heals us (Well, i always thought they were a bti over rated...but a great album, from a great band nonetheless)
    15) Radiohead ~ ??? (Call me optimistic...but HTTF was made in 2 months,so...Anyone heard the new live songs?I Love Where Bluebirds Fly)
    16) A silver Mt. Zion ~ Horses In The Sky

I've probably missed a few....but i can't type that much in one post

Whoa, there's a lot of releases in 2005 I'm looking forward to. Let's see, these are a few of them (sorted by date, kinda):

    1. Pagans Mind - Enigmatic: Calling (18th April) - Norwegian prog metal. They get old quick, but I hope this album is good.

    2. Mgo De Oz - Gaia II (La Voz Dormida) (May?) - I loved Gaia, so I'll probably love this

    3. Carpathian Forest - Fuck You All (May) - Another CF-album with a mindblowing title.

    4. Poema Arcanus - The Teluric Manifesto (May) - Prog Death like Opeth

    5. Sentenced - The Funeral Album (May) - Their last album. They're going to split up after releasing this.

    6. Impaled Nazarene - Death Comes In 26 Carefully Selected Pieces (May) - ...

    7. Nile - Annihilation Of The Wicked (10th May) - I'm not a huge Nile-fan, but still.

    8. Shaaman - Reason (17th May, hooray Norway!) - Hopefully not as cheesy as their last album (released under the name Shaman).

    9. Dream Theater - Octavarium (7th June) - Can't wait for this one. ToT was pretty good IMO, but I hope this is better.

And then there's a lot of TBA-albums from Bal-Sagoth, Helloween (fuck yeah! Can't wait for the new single!), Warmen, Demons And Wizards, Symphony X, Arcturus, Destruction, Stratovarius, Sodom, Edguy, Children Of Bodo, Primal Fear, 1349, Kataklysm, Kalmah, Elvira Madigan, Sinergy and Stormwitch. That's all, I think.

edit: Forgot Turbonegro - Party Animals!

Nine Inch Nails - With Teeth
    Coldplay - X&Y
Pink Floyd - Wish You Here 5.1 Remastered Edition
The Cure - Seventeen Seconds/Faith/Pornography Special Editions
The Cooper Temple Clause - TBA (If it's released this year)

Helloween's releasing an album this year? Awesome!

Dream Theater's Octavarium is what I'm mostly looking forward to. I hope this release tops the legendary Awake. Also, Demons & Wizards new album has my attention. That's about it, I think.

    Kanye West's next CD.
Mew's tentatively titled "Saviors Of Jazzballet."
And Royce Da 5'9's 3rd full-length album and mixtape.

Not too much that I know or care about outside of those three.

    Already out, mate.

    I can't wait for:

    In Flames' next album.
    Arsis' upcoming album(!).
Nile - Annihilation Of The Wicked
Wormed - a new album is rumored

There's not much I'm actually waiting for at the moment, more just a backlog of stuff I still need to get. I am looking forward to hearing Bruce Dickinson's new solo album though.

Yeah, the last one sucked, but on the page they claimed that they hope that both old and new fans will be pleased with the album. Since Soundtrack to Your Escape sold so horribly, maybe they'll decide to go to their old sound? I certainly have my hopes up.

Smindas: Indeed! The new Bruce Dickinson album comes out in May. Bruce Dickinson>recent Iron Maiden, so I think this will be great.

    We're still in March, Howie...

I read that here. Apparently, the poster edited that to "spring/summer", but it used to say May the other day. Btw, the poster is Mike VanDyne, Arsis' drummer. Speaking of which, they have a new one coming up this year.

What, it's been named too? Looking forward to it. I hope it's just like AoB and TCW which where both great albums. Solitude Aeturnus - Alone is coming this May I think, so I'm looking forward to that too.

I don't see you often here Hao, "welcome back"?
