Is it possible for me to hire out a playstation game, some how copy it to my computer so I dont need the cd (I dont have a burner) and play it. If so can somebody tell me how? eg. What programs I need, where to get them.

As long as you have a CDRom drive, you are set. Just go to http://www.zophar.net and go to the Emulators for Windows section. Download EpsxE. Then go to http://bioscity.fr.fm and download the PSX Bios if you need it. Tool around with the settings, till you get what you need. When the emu is set up properly, just pop a PSX game in your CDRom drive and go! Have fun.

As for copying the game to your PC, you need to get a program such as CD-R Win or CloneCD (go here to download CloneCD) that will let you make an ISO of the game (basically the whole CD packed into one big file on your hard drive). Then, use ePSXe and go to 'Run ISO'.

What you can't play copied games on a Playstation? Is that why when I downloaded FFT and loaded it into Deamon's Tools and buned it with Nero Burner it didn't work in my friend's PSX? Damn, I gave it to him for his birthday. Does hot swapping work? Is it difficult to perform? Can it really damage the PS or just the disk?
And where can I buy this "boot disk"?
I don't know how to do hot swapping but, I tried it and couldnt get it to work.....
