Right, so. That thread is invisible to most of you now, but I suppose a good few of you recall The Watcher's thread about CCDART. It was created as a joke, if there's anyone who didn't catch on yet, and it also served as a sort of testing grounds for this new forum that's in the works.
In this new forum, which will be given a fitting title by nek_, that god among men, the basic idea is that the forum rules about disrespecting other users are null and void. While that F4A thread by The Watcher would've been closed very quickly were we not all aware that it was a joke, it would be quite fine in this new forum.
Observe the following, though: While you are free to flame others all you want here (no, not meaning F4A...), this does not change the rules of any other parts of the forums; once an issue is raised in this forum, it must stay here. If somebody takes something outside of it, they will be warned, and if they do it again they will be banned. In addition to that, most other forum rules still apply - no porn, no spamming, no advertising, etc etc.
Will this get out of hand? Will it work as intended in the first place? Well, that depends on all members participating, not just the staff. While we will keep a close watch on this forum and make sure you don't do anything too wrong (mind you, as far as I'm concerned you can take flaming to just about any length in here - if you can make them cry they're just weaklings anyway), you people are the ones who will provide most of the content. Keep with the spirit of the forum, don't post unless you're sure you want to, and remember that the staff are members too - I know I'll be taking digs at regular members, and I expect regular members to do the same for me. Needless to say, you are not to be seriously offended by anything that goes on in here. If you are, you're just a sensitive bitch and we don't want you around anyway, and it is your choice to go in that forum and read those posts...
Now that that's all been said, I would like to suggest that this forum is open to people with 25 or more posts, placed as a General Topics forum, and since I'll be very sure to clear out anything spamlike posts might as well count in there.
