Default Linksys BEFSR41 Router Installation CD?

I just bought the Linksys BEFSR41 router from eBay, but it didn't come with the installation disc. I tried following the written instructions that I found on the internet, but nothing seems to get the internet connection to work properly (it works without the router connected). So, I'm wondering, does anyone have the installation cd that they could send me on aim or show me where to download it from?
    Thanks!

Judging by the pdf's from linksys website, you don't need the cd-rom. Only a complementary application that suck up more memory.

Also, that big ass image was uncalled for, you could have uploaded (not direct link) a smaller one...

I looked at the instructions and connected everything properly. Then I went to internet explorer and typed in the 192.168.1.1 address, but nothing showed up. So, I don't know what the problem is with the router, and I was just wondering if anyone had the installation cd, cuz maybe that'd fix the problem

thats odd. what kind of connection do u have? are your sure you connected that connection to the router and the router to your pc? when u go to that ip address it should take u 2 a page where you sign on for your settings.

I have SBC DSL. I connected an ethernet cable from the modem to the WAN port on the router. Then connected another ethernet cable from my network card to port 1 on the router.

When the router is connected, the computer says that I have "limited or no connectivity" and that no network id was assigned or something like that. I have the TCP/IP thing set to automatically assign ip addresses. If I enter my own ip address, the limited or no connectivity message goes away, but internet explorer still doesn't work. I think my problem is the ip address assigning. Does anyone know what I have to assign my ip address as?

Thats your problem right there, you probably bought a blown router

EDIT: The Linksys routers are imfamous for over heating. almost every client that has boughten one from us has returned it because it burned out

Is there a way to tell if it actually is blown out? The lights are as follows:

    WAN Link is Green
    WAN Act is Green
Port 1 Link & Full are green, but 100 (the lowest light) is yellow

and the diag light isn't lit
