Problems with N64 emulators and XP.
I've downloaded all the N64 emulators and no one works. I don't know if it's due to my Windows XP, because I've a new computer.
Athlon 1200
Riva TNT2 32 MB
256 MB RAM... and Windows XP.
Jabo's Direct3d plugin fails to inialize HAL device but I've got a TNT2 card and DirectX is installed with Xp.
Can anyboy help me?
Thanks, HacheKa.

Try some other Plugins like the previous version of Petes direct3d plugin (1964 comes with version 6 and version 7, doesn't it? Or is that just my bad memory?). One should work 1964 and PJ64 should work fine with a TNT2 and look reasonable, just try all the plugins. OpenGL ones may work too, can't remember exactly tho..

Project 64 works with XP.

PJ64 works on WinXP for me. I haven't tried any of the other ones yet...

Have you installed the Detonator Drivers ?

Nope. I still have a Voodoo 2. And the Voodoo 2 barely works with WinXP. I had to get some third party drivers for it and they work terrible!

1964, PJ64, Corn and UltraHLE all work for me with my GeForce2 nForce thingy..

All the emulators i've tried on my Win XP Pro run fine. (well as fine as can be expected from a N64 emu)

Project 64 says:
Current controller dll could not be used. Please selected another one.
I've installed Detonator drivers and... it still doesn't work.

In that case you need to try a different input plugin - I reccommend the Jabo and N-Rage input plugins.
