There is an example of the blazing ignorance this map depicts so well. Anyone who isn't American could've made this. We all think the same about you. It's a stereotype for a reason. Stereotypes don't just happen, I spat my tea out and dropped my saucer when I saw this.

You can't deny that world/culture education in the USA is horrible. With a crappy unrounded education, what can you expect other than uncultured xenophobes right out of high school?

I am by no means bashing the US. It's just that... I find it ironical that a nation with so many different cultures and people from endless ethnic backgrounds have so many ignorants running rampant (I am not insulting any of you, so don't take this as offensive.)

I can ask anyone -young or old- the location of Vatican city and chances are they won't know where it is. It's time for a change in the educational system, seriously.

People are encouraged to assimilate into the dominant American culture- The US isn't a "cultural mosaic" like Canada.
