    Default How do insects move?

Anyone know how insects move? lol. Becuase, they do not have skeltons right? And they do not have muscles, lol. So, how do they move? Are they just really light or something? I know spiders have their skeletons outside, but what about insects? heh. Just a curious thought, heh. HM...maybe they do have skeletons, heh.

They have little fibres and ligaments connected to nerves around and in their limbs. They're pretty much muscles that work by contracting and relaxing.

Depends on the insect. Fly's move by total muscle force.

Don't have Biology this year, but I've taken two full years on it. Yes, I like science.

Edit: This reminds me... didn't Mushindo make a thread for people to ask science -related questions? That should be stickied... or at least bumped up without a mod's closage.

IMO, insects move by walking or flying

I like them when they don't fly or walk... or exist for that matter.

That's true too. But animals kill each other too, don't they? They kill to live. I kill mosquitos to live.

That death metal is really getting to you, is it?

It's not really necessary to kill insects to live, unless it's like insects that fuck your crops up, or eat your food, are poisonous/etc. or if you're a bird or some other insect-eating animal. I just don't like insects.
