Good thing your ok. My mate quite a while ago went to hospital (due to diabetes) but they didnt diagnose it correctly or something and I think what happened was they injected him with more glucose.

Yeah so that really fucking didnt help and it severaly fucked up his eyesight for a while, although a good while later (these days) he seems to be pretty ok considering. Don't even see him with glasses anymore.

Shows that, yes, your situation could have been much worse - incompetent medical 'aid' is a bad thing.

Heh, sure does suck but hey, I can't do anything about it! And hell no I'm giving up on sweets and stuff. The first thing I did once I got out from hospital was to visit McDonalds. It was good.

Sorry to hear of your condition Crusher old chap, hope things get easier for you. My uncles a diabetic so I know a little of the sort of things you have to put up with (mainly the injections, to be fair), and I hope it doesnt get to you too much. Good luck with it, at any rate.

I'm going to jump on the bandwagon with an 'I never had it, but someone close to me did' type story and say that I have a close friend who needs the needles and such and... Yeah, it's a hassle, so while I'm glad it's nothing too severe...as others have said, take care of yourself
