    Default Help with Chrono Cross!

My Chrono Cross runs too fast and goes black after i press "New game"! I'm using version 1.6.0 of ePSXe with a scph1001 bios, Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.6 video plugin and a ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2. sound plugin. Please help me! I've been looking forward to playing Chrono Cross for a long time!

The best choice to run ChronoCross is to use ePSXe 1.5.2 it runs good under 1.6.0 but you have to add swith to command line.........

To make the game run normally set FPS Limit to 60 in Plugin configuration screen.......

You had to press... was it F4 or F6? ...when it turns black. It will skip that error. But be aware that if you go to status screen, the game will propably hang.
    Have you seen me before?

    Default Chrono Cross Fixes

    Hi Vegedus,
did you get the game to work finally?
I had the same problems as you, namely the black screen at the beginning (like when you go fiddle with the vibration options), and also the game hanging when you go to the status screen during the game. Luckily, everybody else had these same problems and they are surmountable. Follow the link given above by theotheimpaler, or search in these forums, youll find a fix.
Personally, i found the best solution was using ePSXe v1.5.2 and using PeOPS Soft v1.16, with the odd/even hack enabled (recommended when using ePSXe v1.5.2 or older, apparently).
Im not sure if running ePSXe v1.60 with the "-noauto" command line switch worked or not, i think i still got the status screen hang (not 100% sure about this, it was some time back), but in the end i used the solutions stated above.
Let us know if you get the game up and running.

Hey guys! Thanks for all the help. I downloaded the 1.5.2. version of ePSXe and now almost evrything works! The only thing is that dosnt work is the CG's. Im not 100% sure but they seem to go too fast and the music is definetly wrong. But i think that by experimenting with some things i should probarly be able to work that out. Again, thanx for all the help! I'm beginning to like this forum...

STUPID.....using the command line is only a secondary issue.
Set the FPS Limit to 60 and enable it, assuming you are using Pete's OGL 1.75 plugins.

Post your plugin settings. Use ePSXe 1.6.0 in this case.
    Regards,
    fireblaster_lyz
