    Default Back from the inauguration

If you didn't know the marching band I'm in was invited to march in the parade for the 55th Presidential Inauguration of President George W. Bush.

It was a great experience. I don't know what else to say.

    Click on Presidential Inaugural Parade

You can find us in the video at ~1:17. We are the Marshall County High School Marching Band from Benton, Kentucky.

After he's done with his terms who cares?

Even though I have utter distaste for the man, I'm sure that was a very cool experience.

Hopefully we'll be alive to care.

I'm sure they wouldn't have let me go to the parade--with a gun on me. But good for you Josh.

So much negativity, so little time.

Schutzstaffel, possibly the most morose person in the world, ever. Excellent.

What? He said exactly what I would have said. It's called 'quoting for emphasis.' Maybe I should've added that to make whatever cutoff point you deem worthy for these forums.

No reason to bring your political hate into a thread about how much fun an individual had at the Presidential Inauguration. We only have to suffer through four more years anyway.

EDIT: I just now saw the thing regarding spam with users with fewer than 25 posts. I mistook your genuine concern for my status on the forum for being smart...and for that I apologize! (There's no head-bashing smilie, so just imagine a smilie smashing his head into a wall )

I didn't even know that there were privileges afforded to users with 25 or more posts...

I'm very very jealous. I watched most of it on TV and I went to a rally during the election, but an inaguration? That's awesome.

Looking up 'morose' in the dictionary, I discovered that I am, infact, gloomy.
Thank you for telling me, I would have remained oblivious too this had I not been informed.

I prefer the description of 'melancholy', which in turn can be looked upon as 'Pensive reflection or contemplation'. Stick with me kiddo, and we'll go far.
