I would say they have to be in it, as the Oompa songs were the learning focalpoints of the original.

Yes. They will indeed stil be in it. Being as how they were extremely important characters in both the film and book, omitting them here would spell disaster for both Johnny Depp and the production studio. It's not as if he's forcing them to work for him. He rescued them from being eaten into extinction! No, seriously, if he hadn't come along, there would be no Oompa-Loopmas at all!

If there were no oompa loompas, then i would never watch it. Its not the same without them
