How many of you use the IRC Channel?

I will admit I have never been on the Emuparadise IRC, in fact, if truth be told, I don't really know what it is, is it like a chat place?

Who goes there? do you prefer it more then the message board?




Edit by Skinner8: The server is irc.emuparadise.org, channel is #EmuParadise. Inquire within for separate forum channels, cyber sex channels, fascist channels, etc etc.

Yeah, IRC is a chat client. Internet Related chat, you can also get there from www.emuparadise.org/jchat if you dont want mIRC, although mIRC is loads better. I've been using it quite a bit lately It's a pretty nice thing to have.

I love it its way better then the forums.
We got the main chat channel #emuparadise and the forums section where we chat #epboard all are welcome even if you just stop in to say hi cos thats how you get hooked right now its like aussie chat time oh and Dart is on and his always a classic chat shit i just got there for Dart lololol

I go on there once in a blue moon...this place has to be seriously quiet for me to do so, and even when I do its glaringly obvious that the community there is a different one to the one found on the boards. I guess I just dont frequent irc enough to get used to it.

Forums more convenient. I read whats going on whenever I feel like it.

I've been there twice. Can't say much about it either way, as noone was really talking. The way everyone talks it up around here, I might have to actually try hanging out there for more then ten minutes. Maybe.

I don't think I've ever visited EPs channel. I much prefer forums for chatting as I'm prettymuch always AFK. Also, whenever I happen to pop onto IRC my fingers instantly walk over to hentai channels and go leech mad Then I promtly forget whatever I actually popped online for

I used to go on alot, but then I kinda just faded away from it.

I go on a more regular basis. A few months ago, You couldn't get me out of there, but recently I stopped and only go in when I am beyond bored and the forums are dead. Or when I want to complain to Skinner about how the forums aren't working.

It's a totally different community... I've always been at least as active there as on the forums, though, so yeah.
