    Default Having PSX Emulator Troubles

hello Im kinda new to the whole emulator world, and have finally got the epsxe emulator to work and play games.I play FFVII just fine, everything works great except for one thing,I cant save my progress ><.It looks as I am saving things regularly but when I go back and pick up where I left off theres no files. The problem is probably right under my nose,or maybe theres a memory card plugin that i need, but i dont know whats the deal.please give this emu-newb some insight.

If you can't sort out the memory card problem you can always save state. (F1 to save and F3 to load) have you succesful gone through the configuration wizard?

make sure the bios, is extracted if it's compressed, and in the bios folder.
