    Default Sega CD Emulation Issues

I'm having some issues with a few Sega CD iso's, so here goes:

I am using gens and I have the correct bios' downloaded, and I also know how to fix the format hard drive issue with some games. I've searched through almost every page of this particular forum, and haven't seen anything related to this at all.

Prize Fighter, Road Avenger and Sol Feace all lock up at the end of the SEGA logo (with Sonic). You see the sparkles fly and hear the sega tune, then it just hangs. Also, I'm having the Snatcher lockup problem as well, and I have both (E) and (U) versions of the game - one has 21 mp3 tracks and the other has a wav file, however they both lock at the same part.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seem like the Sega CD game "Lunar 1 - The silver star" dont work, too. It starts, but after showing the main titel, it dont continue to load.

Could the file be damaged? Its looks like its a little bit small to be the full game.

Yes, most lock-up problems occur when the ISO is corrupt. Try finding another source for the download.

Does anyone know if the bios has any effect on these games? The (E), (U) and (J) bios that I have are all model/version 1, does it matter if I use model/version 2 or what? Thanks!

That could most definately be the problem. Try using these BIOS, they work without any problems!

Ok, got it all figured out - instead of doing anything fancy, I just downloaded gens+, used all three model/version 1 bios' and turned on the synchro option. Now everything seems to work just fine.
