I finished watching Death Note last night...the end was pretty awesome.

    Spoiler warning:
Though I missed L terribly, Near did a good job as the "antagonist" of Kira, and the whole series of counters between them was cool too, specially the decisive one of the fake notebooks.

Now I'll move to 2nd season of Tokyo Majin or Full Metal Alchemist.

Possibly start downloading Lucky Star as well.

Naruto Shippuuden. Decided to skip the few filler episodes for Naruto. I had left 25 or so episodes left. Hope it wasn't a bad idea. U.U

Watched the first episode of Clannad yesterday. Seems ok to me. It was funny and the characters are interesting. Depending on the second episode, I might be watching this.

Kaiji is a pretty awesome show so far. I really need to get a bunch of people together to play Restricted Rock Paper Scissors. I'm also watching Genshiken 2 and Clannad.

I'm about to watch the 3rd episode of the Devil May Cry series. I think the team at MadHouse has done a good job of staying faithful to the games and the characters. For those of you who have seen it, what do you all think of it?

As I've mentioned in my post above, I thought it was a decent series, with nice music and action, but not a must watch. It just wasn't all that memorable. If I had to rate it, I'd probably give it a 4/5.

Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuchou Tou Dai Ni Maku.

Oh, still watching Dennou Coil. Finished Nanoha StrikerS, which receives a resounding meh. I wonder if it was the feeling of too much fanservice, the sensation that they were cutting budget corners so that they could have more shinies in the ubiquitous battle sequences, or partially character overload; it seemed better when it was just Nanoha, Yuuno, Fate, and Chrono...Yuuno and Chrono barely even showed up except the bare minimum needed to prove they still exist, and why did Arf get even less screentime and an age-down? Zafira never once showed up in human form, either.
"Vivio's got a mommy and a mommy" was a bit funny from the fansubbers, though. Fate/Nanoha shippers rejoice, they now have a daughter.

Finally started watching Now and Then, Here and There.

The whole first episode is the buildup for a typical shonen adventure series. Then it does a bait-and-switch and decides it wants to be Grave of the Fireflies for the armageddon generation.

    I like it.

I'm watching the animes that come on Adult Swim (basically Trinity Blood, Blood+, Bleach, and Ghost in the Shell, even though Ghost in the Shell only comes on during weekends), as well as Naruto right now.

I know this isn't the right thread but I need a new anime to watch.

I enjoyed watching Paranoia agent, Serial experiments Lain and Death note.
So could someone recommend an anime somewhat similar to any of the above anime?

Watch Texhnolyze, Ergo Proxy, Ghost Hound (new series, might want to wait for the fansubbers to finish so you can watch it in one burst), Perfect Blue and Millenium Actress.

^What he/she said. Also, instead of listing loads of shows on my own I'll suggest you try checking out AP's recommendation feature, just type in your fav. anime and it will list similar series. In any way, be sure to check out Monster, that one is great.

Finished watching Death Note, finally, great anime though the last third of the show kinda sucked for me. Only show I'm following right now is Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. And maybe I'll finally get to watch Oniisama E..., wish I could get my hands on the Japanese R2s, how can they charge so much money...

I'm male, for the record. Not that it matters.

I forgot to mention Boogiepop Phantom and Gunslinger Girl. Also, I find the A-P recs to be very hit and miss. They're useful, but plenty of people just link all their favourites together without regard for connections.
