Dennou Coil: Coil - A Circle of Children. It's fairly new on NHK Educational, but pretty cybertech in its premise. Digital world meets real world, and one directly affects the other. That can range from simple things like digital pets or fishing poles (bag of holding!) to virii or the protectors of the digital media, Satchii (which I've seen compared to DRM...actually, that kinda makes sense in heavy-handedness). The art style, CGI-intensive excluded, also reminds me a bit of 80's era, which is pretty nice. Ureshii's done four episodes of planned 26, so...

I'm watching some sports anime lately. Major, which I have watched since the beginning, and Eyeshield 21. I like Major best, since it's a much more realistic series, but Eyeshield is great for laughs. In addition, I watch a lot of other things that are still running, but I've mentioned most of it earlier. Well, just want to recommend Eyeshield and Major - I don't play sports myself, but they're both great entertainment, in my opinion.

One Piece. Its not bad but it does get silly sometimes.

I didn't really like the eneis lobby arc in the anime. I liked it a lot in the manga though. Overall, One Piece is a great anime in my opinion (at least until now).

Anime? I'd say Inuyasha, Prince of Tennis (a decent anime, after the first few episodes), and Ghost in the Shell.

I also recently watched the FF7 Last Order series (4 part). Even though it's subbed, I'd honestly reccommend it to any FF fan.

I also saw it today. Not very far from Hellsing, but more brain dead, if EP1 is to be judged. I think I'll follow the series from beginning til end though -- good entertainment when there's nothing better to do. But a must-watch? Doesn't look or feel like it.

Devil May Cry. It's not bad at all. I certainly wouldn't call it brain-dead. It is what it is, and rather stylish at that. The animation is great, and depending on how deep they intend to go with the stories, potentially very much a must-see, especially for fans of the games.

It's tough to determine just where a show is going to go based on its first episode sometimes. I would've missed out on the excellence that is Haruhi had I judged it based on the first episode alone, and as that one turned out to be pretty great, it's tough to say what might happen with this one. I know that I'll be downloading the next episode to find out.

Oh, I do take issue with the Hellsing comparison though. My opinion that it's an overrated show aside, any similarities between it and DMC are entirely superficial. And if you're looking for superficial similarities, you'll find that very little is unique in the world of Japanese animation.

Finished Blue Submarine No. 6. I would say that it's strange, but then again it's anime, and generally anime is strange. I'd reccommend it, though I'm not positive that it's a must see. I'm also watching .Hack Roots (considering I can't find the other .Hack series, and Roots is the only one coming on T.V. at the moment).

Watched the first episode of Devil May cry as well. Not as great as I hoped it'd be, since it's Madhouse doing it and Madhouse never disappoint. But I guess for an action series it's alright. I'll keep watching I guess, since it has potential. The action scenes are quite awesome and I think I saw Trish in the ending. So I suppose the rest of the series might be good.

I've just finished watching the melancholy of haruhi Suzumiya.
It's pretty good, except I didn't go in order.

I got the impression from the first episode that he's a prick all the time, and an insane one at that, even if he thinks that he's doing good for humanity.

Which reminds me that I need to find a good site from which to get the rest of that series. It seemed hella intriguing.
