Genshiken, Gankutsuou, Samurai Champloo, Planetes.

Initially, I was impressed by the first and last, and less so by the second and third. On watching today, I really like everything except Champloo...frankly, it seems a bit overrated so far. Only one episode of Genshiken and two each of the rest, though, so it's really hard to say so far, though.

Wow.. just finished Great Dangaioh, and I am seriously unimpressed. It was nowhere near as good as the original.

It lacked a coherent plot, and none of the episodes seemed to tie together at all. Plus, the ending wasn't an ending at all. >< The music was okay, but it was way too quiet during the action scenes, and the characters were bland and had little to no backstory.

Plus, you never find out what happens to all the main characters. *Sigh.* Annoying.

Oh well, I'm watching Aura Battler Dunbine, next.

Ah, we were watching that too (My anime club post above), but the licensing company sent us a desist order after we got to the second episode. Apparently we're watching Hellsing, now. I'll give it a shot, but it never struck me as the sort of anime I'd watch normally.
