What is this MoGLO thou speak of, Howie? I don't think it was delayed, I just don't think any one who distributes new metal albums in Spain has gotten their hands on it. November is pretty much over...

Miller, if you think that cover sucked, you should listen to Busta Rhymes' cover... Now I kind of like Busta's early shit, but that cover was pretty much unforgivable. Listen to Candlemass's "Black Sabbath Medley", very nice indeed. Speaking of doom metal, I must check out Rapture.

Slayer - Hand of Doom(Black Sabbath cover)

One of my favorite BS covers, but nothing beats Megadeth's "Paranoid", Sepultura's "Symptom of the Universe", and Bruce Dickinson/Godspeed's cover of "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath". Very ugly how Nu metal bands like Soulfly and Static X even dared to soil the name of real metal...

A nifty prog which you can search through all hubs (almost) with. Pretty cool stuff.

    Pure X - Hr I Dajmen (Dio-cover (Holy Diver))

A swedish cover (Dream Evil-sideproject) of Dio's classic. The lyrics are fucking awesome, if you understand swedish, download this.

Too bad doom metal isn't the kind of music that lasts for 3 or 4 minutes.

    Deicide - Trifixion

    I just heard about it:

On Novenber 25th, 2004 Glen Benton officially stated that the Hoffman brothers will no longer be in the band due to them cancelling and walking off many shows among other personal issues.
Damn! But they seemed to get along so well! The 2 guitarists pretty much started the band when Brian Hoffman met the drummer Steve Asheim. Glen Benton stepped in later... Oh well, now they have Vital Remain's guitarist to finish their tour with, and he's one hell of a guitarist. If he writes future songs for Deicide, I can't wait to hear what they sound like, the new guitarist's work on V.R.'s "Dechristianize" was incredible and very Deicide-ish, so let's see how things turn out.

Oi lads, I was thinking of re-trying Opeth, because I tried them about a year ago, when I still thought growling was shit. What's a good album for an Opeth n00b?

    Rammstein - Moskau

One of my fav tracks from the new album. The album is listenable, but doesn't have very many hooks. I've only been hooked on Amerika and this one so far. De-Loused in the Comatarium, on the other hand, was all hooks, for me.

Listening to Rhapsody - Power of the Dragonflame

My favorite rhapsody album. Best songs off it are Agony Is My Name, Power Of The Dragonflame, Pride Of The Tyrant, and The March Of The Swordmaster

    Avulsed declaration [28.10.04 20:53]

It took way longer than expected for the mixing process of "Gorespattered Suicide" album, but it's finally done!! Initially it was supposed to be done during the 2nd week of September, but no less than 5 hurricanes passed through Florida where Erik Rutan was mixing and mastering the album at his own studios. After this, he was ill for some days... but it was well worth the wait!! The master is in our hands and we must say it sounds great!! We're really satisfied of the mixing and we can state that this might be our best album to date!!

It says it's going to be released on January 2005.

    Immortal - Tyrants

Listening to my raido station at LAUNCH, pretty nifty, since I'm "organizing" my music collection.

I should start posting in this thread.

    Blind Guardian - Battlefield

Excellent power metal here. The vocalist's accent is too heavy though. =\

    Arch Enemy - Silverwing

Awesome track from "Burning Bridges", from the time where the band had a male (and 1213244358448 times better) vocalist.

Not the best I've heard of them, but good nonetheless.

    The Chemical Brothers - Galvanize

Cracking return to form for the Chem Bros. In fact, Ive been after this song for so bloody long that I actually bought the damned thing of iTunes, which makes a anti-piracy music crusader. Bow before me, weaklings etc etc

If you think that song portrayed his big-ass German accent, listen to "The Bard Song".

Rammstein - Wollt Ihr Das Bett in Flammen Sehen

Been a while since I listened to the old Ram stuff, this is a pretty good song. Even though I've moved on to the heavier forms of metal, I still enjoy Rammstein a lot.
