Nope I have not tried that, and I don't know what you mean, using a magnet to get it back?
Like I said I walked out the room then back in, no magnet was near it, I know that if you put a magnet near a tv it changes the colours and fucks it up.

yeah but lots of stuff can demaganatise moniters speakers, quartz clocks, vcrs, and such pull up your in screen menue on the moniter and they shouuld have something that says degaus or an icon of a magnet with alline thru it look in your instructions ion how to degause if you cant work it out
Oh thats what ur talking about, nah m8, I tried that 2 mins after I saw it.
But thanks for trying anyway, im sure it's one of the guns in the monitor that has went, proberly the green one.

Check the cable. Or try a different moniter cable. Also check another moniter to see if it's not just your gfx card.
Done, done and done.
I have tried the monitor on my Voodoo 3 3500 PCI and on my Gforce 4 mx 420 PCI.
I still have a blue monitor, I know it's the gun for a fact, I just wanted to know if it was fixable and if so how.

yea, you fix it by sending it in....unless some1 knows a whole lot about monitors and has spare parts handy to give them to you, you will either need to spend some $$, or send it in, if samson is willing. Sorry, but i dont think your problem can be solved DYI style cheaply...

You can't fix cathode ray guns, they're inside the picture tube which is sealed up. I wouldn't try opening it either, there's enough lead in there to make you have kids with eleven toes. Best thing you can do is wait till they do have it in stock, and if they never do, it would be best to go to consumer affairs.
Yes, I know iot would be impossible to go into the tube it's self, but thought I would ask about it anyway, hoping that someone had any bright ideas, so I guess I'll just get samsung to replace it or I will bomb each Samsung building in uk.
Im sure they will see it differently.
