castlevania: sotn no music or voices (from cd)

I'm using ePSXe and I'm not getting any music or sound, I've tried different sound plugins but they dont seem to be working, also the game runs a little fast, does anyone know the original psx fps for that game? thanks. oh yeah, this is an original copy of the game, not a burned one.

The fps is 60 for the North American version.
In the sound properties, be sure to check all the checkboxes except the last one like in the screenshot.
