Forums: fuxxored?

I've been having quite a share of problems at the forums lately. When I try to add a reply, the page wont respond. I click "add reply" once again then it tells me that it's a duplicate post/thread, but the post/thread hasn't even been posted. This has happened on more than several occasions, but now it's really starting to bug me. Also, with most of the linked images I've provided in posts, they simply don't show up. I fear that this is a problem with my browser but I'm not sure. Just what is up with the forums?

I've experienced similar problems. Though, I've gotten into the habit of checking for double posts, and deleting one if needed. Just be patient, I suppose. And I would think the forums have no problems whatsoever with firefox.

Hmm... alright. I assume the bugs haven't been worked out of the new forum yet. What about linked images, do you get problems like that?

it prolly cuz your using firefox and doing tab + enter like me

just change or add a word or two and itll post it if u get the error

No it does it to me to, im at one of my moms friends houses and she uses IE|). I think i read about this and one of the higher members said it was due to the board updates, but i could be wrong.

Well, the image I had just linked to shows up now. Let's hope this problem goes away soon. :/

yeah it's been doing it to me as well, and I use ie. so i doubt if it's got anything to do with firefox...I actually thought it was to do with ie:/

I guess it's to make sure we really know about the problem; which we do. But 3.0.3 is the latest vBulletin version, so there's not a lot we can do about it. I'm pretty sure the problem is on their end rather than with the server, since the previous version of vBulletin was working just fine.

It could probably have something to do with some onserver PHP settings, I'll look into that though

I most be posting in my sleep. That duplicate thing shows up every time I make a thread. (That whole streetfight thing, never meant to hit public. I was as shocked as you were when it posted.)

I use Opera, and it does the same things, it must be the board update, everything has a bug or two to work out when it first comes out.

I've been trying to post on the BT reseed forum for about an hour. Every single time I've gotten the "duplicate thread" error. Heck, I don't even know if this is gonna post... wait for it...

Okay, this post worked. Time to try the reseed forum again.

Edit: Well, it seems I can post replies, but threads are not working with both IE and Firefox.
