    Default Mortal Kombat Trilogy Problems

The video is really slow for this. I'm using PJ64 v1.5. Is there a way to get around this?

1964 uses a different graphics driver(rice daedelaus i think) and the newest version is supposed to be in that. A lot of people often prefer to play the playstation counterparts because some n64 games are hard to emulate. but if 1964 doesn't work I'll try to think of something else.

Try downloading the newest plugins 1964 and pj 64 will play it. go to www.zophar.net Try glide64 you need a wrapper unless you have a voodoo card. My brother can play it on a duron 1.2 with a crappy onboard sis. So I am sure you can.

    http://www.emuxhaven.net/pluginn64.shtml

has a bunch of plug-ins including input plugins, perhaps changing the input plugin may help(best suggestion I can throw out seeing as I haven't played it in ages).

Edit: Just saw mighty already provided a link there, sorry Mighty.

I'll add that Rice Daedalus is pretty old... Rices Video 5.60 is the newest version of that plugin and much improved it is too.

They can co-exist quite happily together.

You know, Mortal Kombat Trilogy got a lot of problems as well, The game is some of the only games that won't work good on the PS2. It have problems loading and playing on the PS2. Really it does. I got problems playing it on my PS2, the game plays great on a PSX.

What kind of problems, the loading and playing is this with the in game graphics, character selection or movie parts?

Edit: This was one thing the n64 had over the psx, was loading times, though the n64 version had less characters the loading times was greatly reduced in comparison.

A main problem of the game was that you can't see the main ending of all the fighters in the game. The ps2 just don't what to load the fighter ending at all. Also the ps2 stop loading when you try to see the treasure chest, when you win the 8 people battle fights. Also when you see the press start screen (you know when the clock is going down to zero.), and you press start, the ps2 stops loading. I don't know but the game could be one of only few games that can't be played on the ps2.
