    Angry A question about Mod-Chip.com

Recently I sent an order at www.mod-chip.com for swap magic. The order went and they said that they would send a confirmation email. Well, today the email came and it said that our credit card rejected it. My mom called the card company and they said that mod-chip.com made 2 charges to the card. Has anyone had previous experience with this site? Is it a scamming hellhole or not?
    Thank you for any feedback!

They've been around for quite some time... I'd expect they were strapped with a lawsuit a few times in the past if this is not the first time they've done it... Google it, mate...!!

Everything I've found is how great they are. No bad things coming from them..

Contact them and tell them about this... Send them proof of this transaction and your account status (obviously don't give them sensitive info unless they ask for it up front and under safe circumstances...). Oh yeah, ask your mother, or whoever owns the credit card to do this for you...

If they don't reply within a reasonable amount of time, then it's time to throw your lawyer uncle (everybody has one) into the mix, bud...

I've ordered from them before and had absolutely no trouble. I didn't get double charged, and I got my order in a timely manner. That said, I should warn you that the mod-chip I recieved was faulty. I was able to exchange it for another though, so it's all good.

Sometimes Winged, charges don't go through on a credit card but they do get charged. They get credited back to you in a month or so. This happens often, to me. So I don't mind it. They can't really worm out any cash from you since you're protected as a card holder..
