Is Final Fantasy XI going to come out on PS2 as well as the Game Cube

I Brought a PS2 because i thought that all of the new final fantasy's would come out on it but now i hear rumors that square soft teamed up with nintendo so no more FF's will come out on PS2 is this True???????

It's part true, for as far as I can tell, the next few FF's will come both on PS2 and NGC. Don't worry, the PS2 is at good hand, at least for now.
FF XI will be released on PS2 AND NGC, but XII, well there isn't much info about that, but my speculation is that Square won't just drop Sony like that, just look at the costumers of Sony, a lot of people got a PS2, so If they aren't producing any more on Sony's Black Box, then they will miss a LOT of money, 'cause there are a lot of RPG fans.
And FFX in europe will come out in a Special Edition, It'll be released at 4 may. So don't worry, the only one to worry are the X-BOX owners. GNAGNAGNAGNA

I might have been completely misinformed, but I was pretty sure that Final Fantasy Unlimited for the Gamecube was completely different to the FF games on the PS2. It was my understanding that FFXI for the PS2 and FF Unl for the Gamecube aren't the same game, and Unlimited is especially for the Gamecube and Game Boy Advance.

I don't plan on anything, I just have a Dreamcast, cause it's good. Oh yeah, and i don't have any money, I'm saving up for my own computer. It's so hard to keep up with games these days.
