Default Do your parents support piracy?

My parents are all for it. Whenever I bring up something about getting a game for free and ask for something related to playing free games, they will fund the money to buy it. I love it. During the previous summer, I was on a plan to rent DVDs for 24 bucks a month (all i could rent) When I told him about ripping DVDs, he was happy and bought 2 more months of the plan because of it.

Down to the point. Do your parents support piracy or are you on a constant covert mission to hide it from them?

My 68 year old mother requested a downloaded and burned copy of that New Beatles Album that was released last year...FOR CHRISTMAS

I kindly told her that I don't give stolen presents to people. I gave it to her 'just because'

My parents, especially my dad are strongly against it. They dont think I do it, and I dont make an effort to hide it, because they just leave my computer alone though.

My mother asked for like 12 CD's all of which I never.... pirated. And she also asked for like, alot of Sims stuff, all of which I never got. She's all for it to say the least. My father has no idea, but I'm sure he's for it. With all the bootleg CD's my sisters get for him and my stepmother, yeah I'm sure he supports it.

lol, that reminds me. My mom is always asking for software from me so she doesnt have to pay an arm and a leg for norton and works suite and stuff like that. Also, whenever she has a problem, she comes to me. More effective than tech support.

My dad seems cool with it. Whenever I bring up the subject he makes a reference to the FBI and John Ashcroft, but he seems to like that fact that it saves him money

My parents don't really care about Stuff like KaZaa, Sharebear, etc. As long as the computer doesn't screw up.

And Hi, By the way. If there's some "noob" thread I was supposed to post in first, sorry.
