After watching it many times in slow motion, I say that it's fake. Look at the wheels of the bus. And look at the grey car that goes by. It kinda looks as if it moves away from the camera, at a very odd angle.

Well, the video footage has bad enough quality so you can't tell on technical fact alone but the sheer fact that neither of the two vehicles tried to brake or steer in any way should tell you everything. Or those people are simply after some roadkill

Hum, I don't know about USA city busses, but I find the proportions of this bus a bit weird, like it was stretched a bit (short for his height)
The road clearance too high as poetry said and finally, there is a little problem with the bus shadow. If you look at the guy, you can see that while running it's shadow is almost the same height as him. Then the sun would be at the right of the screen, at about 30 degree elevation angle starting from the top of the guy head. Now look at the bus shadow. Look more precisly at the bus shadow in front of it. Make a small calculation (do a straight line from the top of the bus with a 30 degree angle and all, use your finger to take the guy shadow angle, then just lift your finger a bit so the top corner of the bus goes behind your finger) and look how short is the shadow. You can see it clearly when the bus is about to pass in front of the little sign.
And as Kitsune mentionned, one of the 2 vehicles would have at least tried to brake.

Yes its fake, anyone good enough with CG, can tell that the bus was animated into the shot.

You beat me to the punch man, yeah after I watched it for the 3rd time its obvious to me now that they just put in a CGI Car and Bus with footage of some guy running onto a empty road, ducking then running back.
