    Default question about member deletion...

i was just wondering how long a member would have to be away before they would no longer be a member. i know i used to come to the forums quite often, then i stopped for a while, and when i decided to come back i was no longer a member, so i basically stopped coming for good and i was out of the whole emulation thing. it's been about a year i guess since this happened and i just now decided i would become a member again. i got to keep the same name. i was wondering if i was deleted because i was away for a few months or if there was some kind of problem with the forum and people had to join again or something.
i don't really know where i should have posted this question...

You could have been pruned or maybe gone since we had to go to a database backup. I think you were pruned though, because I remember you when I was a newb.

It's what happens to your fingers when you stay in the bathtub too long.

ok, then my question is, how long long do you have to be inactive to be considered an inactive member? and what is an inactive member? are you inactive if you don't post anything put still visit the forums regularly?

They did that a lot, back in the day. I have noticed while looking through the old archives.

I sure did. Check the very old posts. All of the members are either Retro's, Mods, Admins, or guests.
