Post Tekken 2 for SNES?

Can anybody help me? I've downloaded several versions of Tekken 2 for SNES and tried them with several different emu's but none work. Does anybody know where to get a working rom???

Thumbs down

Sorry Mike, Even the version I have hangs up on ZSNES after some time..
Don't know if it's a bad dump or some sort of incompatibility. Must be the former though.. I'll still take a look to see if there is one that works.

Try e-mailing the creators of Zsnes or Snes9X about it so they can try to make it work in their next version. That's probably your best bet.

i have tekken 2 for snes, and it's trained rom...it fully worked on 10 releases old snes9x so it will work on any emu now. mail me at [email protected] and i'll send you the rom

and dont mail creators of snes9x or zsnes cause they wont reply you...in readme files of those emus are rules about mailing the authors. read them before you mail them

try using GoodSNES to rename the rom and see what it renames it to. if it puts a [b1] or [o1] or something like that at the end of it, it means its a bad dump or an overdump. you can get GoodSNES here.

hmm.. if you got the same one i got, it'll rename it to Tekken 2 (PD).zip This is a public domain and is not an official commercial game for the system. This could have something to do with its compatibility issues.

btw, the rom doesn't work right for me either... i think it might be an emulator problem, so try emailing the authors of zsnes and snes9x if you havent already done so.

I dont think its a bad dump, I think it needs decryption files. I think its the same problem I had with Street fighter alpha 2, then I got the files from someone on the forums and now it works.

nr:1
Tekken 2 (SNES) = pirate/unofficial

nr:2

No dumb extra hardware

nr:3
Pirate games = poorly programmed, not good to say if it's a bad dump or not properly programmed, atleast the game doesn't work on my Snes backup unit/dumper.

nr:4
For Zsnes and Snes9x bug reports and stuff, use the emulator's respective messageboards/forums to report the bugs/errors.

Not sure, but if the game doesn't even work on a real SNES, the chances of it fully working in emulators is a long way off.
