Default PSF: How does it work

Does anyone have a tutorial or would be kind enough to write one about how PSF works. I downloaded the FF7 MINIpsf soundtrack, less than 1mb and the quality is amazing. I was especially impressed with "One winged angel" a 4kb large, 7 minutes long song that included a big chorus singing. How do they fit all that in a 4kb large file?

I believe that psf is actual coding taken from the psx game and all the excess stuff is ripped away. I believe that most of the coding is the same, and that's how they make minipsfs with the psflib (think that's what its called) holding the redundant data, that each one can access.

Edit: http://www.neillcorlett.com/psf/ would probably give you info on it.

Looks like he should be able to find whatever he wants. Given that there aren't that many psfs, you can find archives that have every single one. XD And only a few people know how to make them.
