Default Game gets black screens at certain places.

The game is The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, and at certain points in the game, I just get a black screen. Is this just a bad file?

We need more info. What emulator, and what plugins, along with system specs would be useful.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
and speak my point of view
    But its not sane..
I just want some one to say to me
Ill always be there when you wake
Ya know Id like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and Ill have it made
And I dont understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that theres no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away but its a great escape..

Ah, alright. XP Home, 2.20 GHz, 512 RAM, 64 MB NVidia video card. My emu is ePSXe bios is 9002, I use Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.75 for my graphics, ePSXe SPU core for sound.

I've run multiple games on it before, and never had this problem.

Try some of the special game fixes for the video plugin. IIRC there was one for black screens, it fixed the Lunar games, but it may work for this one as well. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than I can help more.

Maybe its just a plain emulation error. No fixes or anything. If that is the case, just wait for a new release of ePSXe (whenever that will be ) or do the swap trick with a PSone like I do.

No, actually, my old one was, but I bought a NVidia card. Nothing special, but it's run plenty of games before.

Also, my PS1 met a 'bad' fate....

Well, it's the reason my playstation is broken. I don't want to talk about it beyond that.

FF9 will work if you run it with 1.5.2, it does not work well with 1.6.0 as do a lot of square games.

Use the bios SCPH1001. I would also recommend using Petes OpenGL 1.75 as I have best results with it. Just play with some of the settings.

Bushido Blade is an awesome game. What makes it destroy the PSone!?
