Default Are Classic NES Series worth it?

What's the point to them? Why waste 20$ on something when you can find it for a couple of bucks on ebay? I think it's a stupid idea from nintendo to help promote their games with the LOZ disc and the new Metroid Prime 2 disc.

Even at the ridiculously low price you seem to be able to get them at, they're not worth it.

Yes the Nes Classic Series are a wast of money... but what's that got to do with the LOZ disk and the Metroid Prime Disk...IN my opinon those are good things...

Yeah, they are a waste, spend about 20 bucks on something you can get with the click of a mouse.

I dont get what nintendo was smoking when they thought of this idea. That and the GBA videos. I hate those things. Pain in the ass to upload. I couldnt believe that the nes games were 20 bucks when I saw them at K-mart. I couldnt resist bending down and whispering in my brothers ear "I can get that game in a 5 second download."

I'd love to spend 20 bucks to get Xevious, when I already have the piece of shit on a NES cart. No really.

Makes sense to me. Retro gaming is more popular than ever these days, and there are a lot of people out there who A) Don't have the original games, B) Don't know about emulation, and C) like to buy the games they enjoy rather than download them.
With emulation, people get to play the old games that they love. With NES classic series, people also get to play the old games they love - legally.

The little kids who love cartoons are the ones who kept Pokémon on the top and cheap parents who are very busy and need to keep the youngins entertained buy these things. Demographics... marketing... recycling old games and franchises and getting a buck while at it, plus keeping the GBA alive while the DS gets ready to storm this Christmas. Pure logic.
If the NES had not been emulated on the computer I bet you all would have bought at least one of the games. And the cartoons are actually a nice idea... DBZ, Pokémon, Spongebob and jimmy Neutron keep the kids entertained. If they did the Smurfs, the old He-Man or Thundercats you would have me buying those!

Yeah i like the idea for the t.v. shows on GBA but most of them are shows i don't care to watch. What about the spiderman cartoons? They should make some of those for GBA.

See, you people are missing the fundamental point of releasing these games on the GBA. It's because they are portable. You guys are complaining about these things just being rereleases, but they're portable, they're cheaper than buying most of these games complete in the box, which is what I do, and some people don't have an NES or don't want to have to go scouring through pawnshops and eBay to try and find these games.

I think it's a good idea. I would love to be able to play the games that I love while I'm traveling on the road or something like that, or if I'm out of town or if I'm just at another persons place and I have nothing to do, just whip out my GBA and start playing a game that I grew up on.

It's all that simple. I think it's a great idea, just like making the GBASP was a great idea. No one bitched about that, did they? Yeah. That's what I thought. Wanna know why? 'cause it's better. These aren't going to be better, they're just going to be awesome.

It's going to sweet.

Exactley why I'm going to be buying Dr. Mario, and possibly Xevious.

No! Buy a flashcart instead. PocketNES is yummy.
