    Default Heard of this band?

Has anyone here heard of the band Evergrey?

They are a great band, they are pretty much underground, and they kick ass. They have a wide range of music, from soft ballads, to some crazy ass songs. The singer is a great singer, and they have keyboards, which adds to their dark style of music. It is classified as Prog-Metal. Pretty good though. I'd recommend them to anyone who likes great music.

EDIT: forgot to put an extra option, which is: "Yes, they suck though". If any moderators are willing to do that.

Last year I listened to a bit of one of their cds, I think... A concept album with the alien conspiracy and whatnot, right? I've forgotten it for the most part, but it was fairly good. Unless I'm thinking of the wrong thing entirely.

    Yes, my opinion is unimportant.

I heard a couple of tracks right after I was going off Prog Metal. I wasn't impressed then, but I'll give them another go perhaps. I'll change the poll too...

This is hard for me to do, because I haven't come across any songs I didn't really like but the 3 songs I like most are:

    fast: The Great Deceiver
    slow: I'm Sorry
I don't know how to classify it, dark maybe(lyric wise): A Touch Of Blessing

    www.evergrey.net

it has videos, and music samples. Some songs are sample, some are full. When you go there, go to the download section.

Yeah, it is somewhere along those lines. I don't really even know. It is called In Search Of Truth. I listen to that cd the least out of the 5, that is why I'm not sure what it is really about, plus it is a burned copy, sometimes they explain what went on with the recording of the cd and stuff.

Here is a pic of them eh. don't really need it, but what the hell. They have a different drummer now so the guy with the short hair isn't in the band anymore. Oh also, the guy in the middle is differnet now too, he was the keyboard. This is the line-up on the cd In Search Of Truth. Old...

Heard of them, I might've listened to some of their songs. Are they somewhat similar to Dream Theater?
