All the even numbered Final Fantasies were the best. 8 being the best of them and 10 being the worst. And we all know that my opinion is law so close this thread now!

8 is the best. 7 and 9 didn't interest me as much as 8 did.

Either 3 (snes) or 7. I'll figure out one day.

Damn straight, 7 was the best for the sony consoles and 6 was the best for the SNES. Ive never really played FF9 because I never digged the cutesy wutesy man chi-chi style of the characters.

FFVIII (8, for those who can't read roman numerals :p) is my favorite, by far. It has a protagonist that I actually truly felt for, for one. That and it's plot is truly all encompassing, definitely not as haphazard and sidequest-y as FFVII's. Strong characters and solid plot all around.

7 for sure, with 8 a close second

    Trogdor was a man
    Uhh...Maybe he was a Dragon-Man
Uhh...Maybe he was just a Dragon
    Uhm...but he was still

    Burninating the peasants
    Buriniating all the people
