Default Worst GCN game you have ever played...Idea stolen from Master Vivi.

Yes this is a clear Spin off thread. Idea totaly stolen form Master Vivi.

I figured if people were going to post about the worst PS2 game they had ever played they might as well have the option to say what the worst GCN game you have played is as well.

I can't think of a GCN exclusive game that was the worst. Though, I did hate eternal darkness quite a bit. I mean come on people, after the first level it's the same damn thing repeated over and over!

Yes i have to agree. I loved Star Fox 64.. then SFA...It made me sick that they could defile a clasic series is such a way. Star Fox is was not intended to be an action game... with talking dinosours..

Dont get me wrong its a good game, it just the main charcter should not have been Star Fox.

Well, there's the classic star fox coming out soon. Perhaps that'll please you guys I never got around to playing SFA myself. So I have no comment on that game other than it does look a wee bit stupid for a starfox titled game.

Gamecube of course I think Namco is spearheading it and Nintendo is keeping a watchful eye on the project.

    star fox adventures,
was supposed to be dinosaur planet for the n64 the last game by rare ,in the end they decided to put fox as the main character and ported to the cube ;S
Sabre is much like FOX anyway

    Dinosaur Planet
Dinosaur Planet has been terminated as a N64 game and redesigned for Nintendo GameCube.

January 26, 2001 - Dinosaur Planet was recently terminated as a N64 game. The title is now scheduled to arrive on Nintendo GameCube in 2001. However, since no details are yet available on the GameCube title, following is our preview of the N64 game. We believe that the major differences between the two versions will lie in graphics -- the GameCube build is likely to have higher resolution textures and more detailed 3D polygon models. Similarly, it is probable that the music and speech samples featured on the cartridge version will be improved for release on GameCube. We suggest that the overall gameplay mechanics and storyline, though, will remain identical. With that in mind, please continue reading. In what was to be Rare's last Nintendo 64 game (before it was switched to GameCube), Rare's Dinosaur Planet is an action-adventure of epic proportions. The formula of a quest to a far off place in the name of good fighting evil is reprised in the product. This time players will be fighting to get to the actual Dinosaur Planet so that they can continue to battle against evil forces that are bent on destroying the universe. Rare's knack for marrying grand storylines to powerful gameplay should give the title the same interactive cinematic appeal that we saw in Jet Force Gemini

What do you get for all of that extra memory and space of a GameCube optical disc? You get a pair of new heroes, Sabre and Krystal and, among dozens of other characters in the game, a pair of controllable sidekicks. Each dinosaur sidekick is assigned to a specific character and will be able to receive and execute commands in real-time, similar to what was presented in Perfect Dark's multiplayer game. Sending them to find and retrieve objects, dig holes, distract enemies and even play games seem to be integral parts of advancing through the title. Of course, it seems that the liability of these creatures is that players will have to keep them well fed.
