Running 95/98 games in 2K

Some of the games i have lying around here i want to play again, but the computer i play them on has been upgraded to Windows 2000. Now whenever i try to install them, they shit themselves and come up with a little dialogue box saying "This program can only be run in Windows 95/98"

Is there any way to run them in 2000, and if not, how do i go about putting 98 on this computer in a dual boot setup?

right-click on the exe > properties and set the compatibility to windows 95 or 98.

For a dual boot you'll need another partition, which I think needs to be the first one for win 95/98

Compatiblity isn't an option in 2K...

He's right, i also run win2k (which btw is great, stable and all) but no, there is no compatibility option in win2k....

I am running 2k pro and I have that option :\ I guess that's microsoft for you Well, you'll have to dual boot then. I suggest partition magic to make the partition, it'll also install the OS for you. Very simple but powerful

that option is with XP, noyt 2000, and i have 2000 pro. He's either stupid or messed up...

Install the latest service packs, knowing M$ it's probally an added feature in one of the last service packs.
