help with soul reaver

i am having trouble getting soul reaver to work well on my computer for some odd reason...i use ePSXe 1.6
if someone would help me out with what video plugin i should use and what settings i shouold use to make it run smoothly on my pc. my pc has a 9800 pro, athlon XP 3000+ and a gig or RAM...i should be able to run perfectly....but alas...i cant

This one is rather easy, simply check off the option 'Disable Real-Time CD-ROM Status' under Config > CD-ROM in ePSXe.

It's amazing how often questions can be answered by simply reading the documentation with an emulator.
