Who's your favourite vocalist, for me it has to be

Maynard from Tool, he has a god like voice
    Mikael from Opeth

edit: Cornell from Soundgarden as well

    This is hard...

Ville Valo from HIM on clean vocals, Mikael kerfeldt from Opeth on growl as well as Tapio Wilska from Finntroll, Abbath from Immortal at grim vocals and Vintersorg (Otyg, Vintersorg, Borknagar etc. etc.) on deep vocals.

Jonnhy Gioeli all the way, he's played in several bands(Hardline, Crush 40, others I don't know too). Most ppl will recognize him as the vocalist from most of the theme songs in some recent Sonic games. He has an amazing voice. I know so many kickass classic/death/doom/black metal bands with good vocalists, but ones that I really like are Anders(In Flames), Eric Adams(Manowar) and Bjrn Strid(Soilwork, thanx to Howie for the reccomendation). Eddie Vedder(PJ) and Hetfield(Metallica) are not half bad either.
EDIT: Can't forget Corey(Slipknot) on deep vocals, he totally owns. They guy from Lamb of God and the chick(unbelievably) from Stampin' Ground are also pretty good on deep vocals.

He sounds like a gay pothead to me. I hate pop, but Utada Hikaru has a nice voice.

Soeru: No problem, try Dark Tranquillity too

edit: I forgot the guy who got the best voice ever, Jrn Lande (Masterplan).

I like Jon's vocal work on the first few albums, but now he just sounds tired and never really changes the tone of his voice.

This is hard. I like some of the oldies like Nat King Cole. He has a good voice. I also like all the voices of Queen. They have great operatic rock. They are my fav band. I just love the vocal layering they do.
